Steve is an amazing piano instructor! He is patient, makes learning music fun, and has such creative ways of teaching especially the acronyms he uses to help students remember music notes. My son absolutely loves going to classes because of the way Steve teaches music! My daughter started with Ms. Amanda and she loves her session!
I highly recommend New City School of Music. The school is easy to reach,via text or call. Manny at the front desk is always friendly and welcoming, and the environment is clean, cozy, and comfortable. I love the new space.
The only downside is that there are no make-up lessons, so if you miss a class, you lose it. (There is a student portal where instructors can send you a video that day, but it’s not the same. )It can be difficult during the summer since schedules tend to be less consistent compared to the school year. Other than that, we’ve had a wonderful experience!
